We are proud to support literacy throughout the Renton School District. 

 

Through your generous donations, we have assisted in funding books for classroom and school libraries throughout the District.

Renton Schools Foundation funding helps provide access to the MyON® Reader digital library for every elementary school student in the Renton School District. MyON® Reader is a student-centered, personalized literacy environment that gives students, and their families, access to more than 6,000 enhanced digital books.

During the 2020-21 school year, our elementary school students read a total of 253,203 books, averaging 35.9 books per student. This equaled a total 81,819 hours of reading!
