Inspiring Passions and Changing Lives

Science Technology Engineering and Math (STEM)

The Renton School Foundation provides STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) funding throughout the District to further enrich cocurricular and extra-curricular programs that provide rich and valuable learning opportunities for students in STEM related fields.

Our goal of enhancing educational opportunities includes providing Summer Career Technical Education (CTE) Science Camps for middle and high school students and providing Elementary School Summer Camps that focus on reading and math education.  These programs are free to all students who participate.

The Renton Schools Foundation provides funding to support literacy in many ways for the students in the Renton School District.

Music and Arts

We are deeply committed to Music and Arts in Renton Schools!

Each March is “National Music in our Schools Month” and we have a month-long fundraiser to support very specific music needs which are selected by teachers in the music department.  This partnership allows for very specific requests to be funded.  In the past we have raised funds for:

In addition, we have purchased digital keyboard labs in two of our high schools, purchased tubas for all the band programs, and many more instruments.  The goal is to provide instrument choices for the students!
